Centennial is one of New Mexico's newest high schools, opening its doors to its students for the first time during the 2012-2013 academic school year. We are a four-year comprehensive high school with a curriculum focused on Career Pathways. Our name is a celebration of the centennial, or 100th anniversary, of our statehood. On June 21, 1910 President William H. Taft announced the signing of a bill that added "Two new stars on the American Flag," as he put it, making New Mexico and Arizona America's newest states. On January 6th, 1912 New Mexico officially became the 47th state of the Union. To learn more about our state you can visit
New Mexico's official Website.

Very Important Dual Credit Information!!
Changes to FALL 2020 Dual Credit:
For students who would like to sign up for dual credit at NMSU main campus, please visit our website at https://dualcredit.nmsu.edu/
Students will be able to set up an advising appointment time online and the appointment will be on Zoom. After an advising appointment is scheduled, a student will get more information via email, including a link to the fillable version of the application paperwork. If for some reason a student does not have access to Zoom please contact your high school counselor via phone.
For students who would like to register for DACC
For students who have taken a dual credit course before (continuing students), you can check your NMSU email for a link to make an advising appointment. A DACC advisor will help you fill out the required dual credit forms and register you for fall dual credit courses. The DACC academic advisor will ask you for a high school transcript and verify you have a 2.0 GPA or higher. Your high school counselor should be able to email you a transcript to forward it to the advisor.
For students who have NOT taken a dual credit course before (new students), a high school GPA of 2.0 or higher is required to be eligible for the dual credit program. Your first step is to fill out a DACC application. If you do not know or do not want to use your social security number, you can leave that blank on the application. Students need to follow four very important steps when completing the online application:
